Any C Hing tried already? Is the response and focusing time acceptable?

I heard some China Leica users' comments that:
1) it is noisy
2) Using RF can be sometimes faster, especially for lens longer than 50mm in medium to low light.

Eventually got one on Monday, again after some hiccoughs on setup ...

Thansk to Ryan who did the fine tune for me !

One wonderful thing about this adaptor is,
if you turn the lens to shortest focusing distance, you can have some close-up shooting,
at a distance shorter than the shortest focusing distance as marked on the lens,
without the need of an additional macro adaptor.

Take this opportunity to try on the 50Jahre 50/2, a lens highly recommended by M3fans c hing.

In general,
@2, focusing is sharp and accurate, almost 全中
@1.4, focusing usually a bit out by 1-2mm (the difference in distances between R & L eyes of the clay queen), and a bit "glow"
@1.2, 1.0, or 0.95, focusing accuracy like @1.4, and almost all accompanied by "glow"

So, for 50 lenses,
reliably useful @2, or smaller apertures

So accuracy is not a problem, how about speed? Say, for 50 at f/2 at 2-3 meters distance in sufficient day light.

I tried a few weeks ago.

If you are hoping this will make your M lens like native Sony lens.
IT WONT.

What it does is it will auto focus. But depends on condition, there will be time it needs to hunt back and forth the whole length to get to where you want it.

after that I didn't even attempt to check the accuracy because for me, these kind of handicap affects my shooting style.

Personally RF is faster in every way for me.

BUT

For anyone who has difficulty using RF, wear glasses, don't need to shoot fast objects. It's a good supporting tool.

It is more a toy than a tool. Look forward to better updates in the future.

It has something to do with QC of this company.
The first MAF I got simply failed to focus, just kept making loud noise and aimlessly moving back and forth.
The one my friend (experienced C&N shooter) got had "pretty good" performance at close focus, but the normal range made home mad !
Then I got me second (present) one, and I am satisfied with it, so far with 50 or wider lenses, @2 or smaller.
Unless you are shooting sports or wild life's, I think my present one is good enough ... for me.

I am not a fast shooter anyway
