Leica T Promotional Discount

Received an email from Leica of the Leica T promotion.  Phoned and confirmed from Leica shop that prior reservation should be made to ensure stock available.  

The Leica T would be sold at $10,350, i.e. 75% of its list price of $13,800.  The T18-56mm f3.5-5.6 ASPH, if bought together with the camera, would be sold at $6,200, i.e. 50% of its list price of $12,400.  Similarly, the T23mm f2 ASPH would be sold at $6,800, i.e. 50% of its list price of $13,600.  Buyers can only enjoy the 50% discount of either one of the above-mentioned lens, not both.

A discount coupon is required and attached herewith.  According to Leica shop staff, a lot of enquiries and reservations have already been made by prospective buyers.  The promotional discount runs until June 30, 2015.

Price is very attractive...but need external viewfinder and no built-in flash. With the same price there are lot of other choices for other brand name

External viewfinder is a desirable item.  With the same price of any Leica product, there will be a lot of choices of other brand names.  However, Leica is leica.
