I am also a beginner with cold drip, so I don't think I can give you much advice.
From what you said I think you should be right on track with the grind, time and water/bean ratio.
Some tried slower drip, instead of 4-6 hours, you can try up to 8-10 hours.
With cold drip darker roast is better especially if it is chilled.
I also like African beans to others as the earthy aroma is so unique even chilled.
