Has anyone downloaded any apps to the a7 or a7r??

was wondering how well it works?

The "Lens compensation" apps is the one you must have. It improves the red shifts problem from VM 12, Leica 28 F2 and 21 F3.4.  Details can read on Sony website.  I am using it and love it﹗﹗﹗

Ching mind sharing which 21mm were u using? N how's the result?

Please see the results from Leica R21 F3.4 which is the one with serious red shifts problem.

The apps only have three functions for adjustment;
1. peripheral shading
2. chromatic aberration
3. distortion.

I had get the apps.
But i think it get a little bit delay of shooting with my a7.

I hardly shoot wider than 35mm so I guess this app is not a necessity yet...  I saw the sony website and setting up the profiles seem troublesome to me...
