SUUNTO vs Casio G-stock protrek

Any SUUNTO users can share their goodies of Suunto ami(ami2 ) ,Elementum vs Casio G-shock protrek ? For functionally , which is better ?

I found Elementum's looking quite smart , how about this ?

Suunto 好似無咁耐用，但型仔 D 。

我弟有隻白色 Suunto ，當年黎明戴果款，幾年後就壞了。

而我同年買果隻 GSHOCK PROTREK 鈦版第二代爬山王，現在仍功能正常。只是換電都幾金，好多粒電。

Yes, my protrek running for many years ( actually I forget which year I bought it) . But it seems not so accurate at temperature measurement . Clocking always run faster( quartz watches' common problem ?)

我的那隻是全電子，並沒有石英部份，功能皆 OK 。

I supposed all protrek are using Quartz for clocking .

One thing I don't like about Protek is the short duration of the light illumination and the light is not working during setting.  Sometimes, I use B shutter to take a 4 second shot at night and I have to keep pressing the light several time to count the time.

Leikr 個 look 難以接受, but it is potential for development.

I wore Pro Trek first, because of the look, bought a Sunnto, but the button layout is really annoying, so go back to Pro Trek thereafter till now, no complaint.
Truly reliable and my trusted ultra-marathon companion.

I'm wearing a Sunnto Elementum, brown lether version.  Looks great, but the buttons are not designed carefully enough for the size and position.

My pro-trek is now 10 years old. Changed battery 2-3 times... It's just reliable when I need precise timing for chasing Japan train/bus schedule

相反。。我觉得Suunto耐用好多。。我只黄色用0左差不多十年至唔係好正常。。而买过两只Protrek。。太阳能个种。。两只都係刚过保养期就瓜柴。。后来又买返只Suunto。。带0左年几。。完全冇问题。。。

我的 Protrek 是沒有太陽能的第二代鈦版爬山王，超耐用。

只是，換電好「溶」，好似要三、四粒……
