The perspective correction is to eliminate any distraction from viewing. Sorry this is my personal idiosyncrasy.
In addition to adding one stop, I have also lowered contrast (which has the effect of revealing more shadow details) and added color vibrance. To extract shadow details, I can only "stretch" a digital file so much without making it look too unnatural, or else I have to start tinkering with other parameters to make it look another kind of "natural".
As to the sharpening, I lowered the radius from 1 to 0.5 and increased details from 25 to 50. This is for me to see whether or not sharpening works the same way as M9 DNG files. As expected, different sensors respond differently to sharpening mask.
