Difference between TriElmar 28-35-50 generation I & II ?

Hi Chings,

Is there any optical design difference (or other areas) between generation I & II of Tri-Elmar 28-35-50 ?

Optical design is said to be the same. But the barrel design is different. But as usual for Leica, you need to do some serious comparison and AB to be certain if they did change the optic, coating etc.

Other than the differences in mechanical and appearance, my experience is that v1 has more flare than v2, that is why I sold my v1 for a v2.
