Do you happen to have the V4 as well?

C-hing, I don't have this lens.

As to V4, from the images I have seen elsewhere and here, it seems that while stopping down retains its "character", the twin problems of focus shift and field curvature have to be taken care of.

If the lens is optimized for f/1, it seems to be quite hard to obtain exact focus when stopped down or when the subject is off-centre (unless live view is used).

Otherwise, I think the rendering of V4 is very unique, both wide open and stopped down!
