ZM 35 1.4 has been a long waited lens for Leica fans. After a day of shooting with it I can say for sure it is as good as Leica's 35 Summilux 35 1.4 FLE if not sharper. There are less fringing with the high contrast area and the image quality is on par with Leica's 35 Summilux. It is hard to say if it will replace Leica in that sense, after all Leica is Leica. When it's mounted on M9, it has a good balance and shooters can get a good grip of the focusing ring.
