I don't think it is the CCD problem. Nikon D2 and D200 also have CCD and remember the LCD screen is already quite good.

I believe it is very difficult for Leica to find supplier due to their small quanity order.

M240 LCD is a class of it's own. Finally something even better than most Japanese cameras. I am a long time film shooters but for digital, finally I don't feel embarrass when my wife and my friends want to review my pics during a trip....
