Yeah ... so it not just me, at first glance I thought it was a new Noct ... Noct 28 ! With such a trunk, hope image quality is in proportion with size.

Just finished Reid Review on the 28 Summilux prototype. This lens has incredible resolution and zero distortion. It's solution at centre and conner is way better than the ones of 28 Summicron! At f/1.4, it outperforms f/2 of the Summicron!! Although Summilux has slightly higher CA and vignetting than the Summicron has, it is the best 28mm in the market at all apertures, in my opinion.

BTW, the stainless steel MP is actually a new mechanical film camera, called M-A. Reid didn't mention about its details.

Just read Sean Reid's review on the 28 lux.  The 28 cron used in the comparison tests seemed to be a bad copy.

Having said that, 28 lux still appears to be a helluva impressive lens!

28/2 can't be that bad. I also have 11663, 28/2 is slightly sharper according to the copies I own, confirming the Leica official data. No, I am not going to do the test
if lux 28 is sharper/better, guess that it would be difficult to see on M9 and one will really need to look for it on any 24mp or 36mp sensors.
having said that, who can resist the f1.4 visual impact from a Leica 28mm!!

This 28/1.4 summilux will be the second 28/1.4 ever produced, second to Nikon 28/1.4 along with 35mm, this focal length is very useful in reportage style and snap shot photography. Will 28mm summicron be retired and stop production ?

24/1.4 summilux 就有少少（夾係中間 ）feel.... 如果玩 21/1.4 ，就可能28/1.4 或 35/1.4， 再加支50mm ....

28 lux 平民版(黑) 我估作價大約係 3萬5- 4萬2 (水) 銀 5萬2-6萬  以 24 1.4 41k 水平參照
如果30k 上下我都會入既, 有閒錢的話,但係唔代表 28/2 唔好,反而佢既2光圈能力真係超班 , 反正leica 無一支係失望ah
