Yes, glow like hell.
Perhaps, outdoor can compensate it.
Having said that, the lens bokeh is great.

summarit 50/1.5 is one of the legend lens from Leica
with character that maybe not everyone to appreciate
need time and worth to explore

due to age, have patient to find a good glass one
try it !
......

btw, if summarit represent old lens, Summitar is like the transition between old and modern lens
Summitar is comparatively easier to handle than summarit

but I cannot tell u which one is better, I have both :-)
