DP3M on kids

Having been neglecting this camera for a while...so I brought it out to catch a tiny bit of sunlight.
Bumped into a bunch of cheerful kids. Can't help to snap a few although they are usually not my favourite subjects.

Re-visiting the Foveon sensor's fine details is a different experience to that of the MM's CCD which is of no complaint neither.
Many shots in this session were off-focus therefore rejected.
I am rather convinced that DPM's auto-focus is never as efficient as Leica's RF with manual lenses for kids in motion.

My only objection to Sigma DPxM is that post-processing is such a pain!

I do agree it is painful using Sigma's software.
Instead, saving the files and processing them in Photoshop is OK for me.

i always think DP3m has a slight different file characteristic from DP1/2m. It seems to me the DP3m is less contrasty and more appealing on skin.
you second pic is really great! the bokeh of the last pic is nice too!

you know what, bubu. after testing the a7r at sony showroom, when i was about to put the deposit, my boss said,
"why didn't see you use the DP cameras?"  
".........."

and of cos, then no deposit was made............................................

Maybe it's good for you to think through if this A7r purchase really fills up what you don't have.

yes..... "want" is infinite; "need" is in fact very limited.

your DP3m photos remind me why I bought these small cameras. foveon sensors are really quite magical!!
